About Us

We put the entire focus of our program on the children.

Greater Cleveland All Stars

Our Story

The Greater Cleveland All-Stars have been serving youth in travel team basketball activities, leagues and camps since 2002.  In 2003, the Allstars ranked 2nd in the Best of the Best AAU National Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis, IN.  The program initially began with males 12 and 13 year old students from the Greater Cleveland Schools.  We decided to have a different age group every year, trying to keep the same guys three to four years.  We will then starting over with the 9th grade boys again giving our program a greater success rate. The 2023 season will be with 10th Grade boys, who will stay with us through 12th grade.

As Police Officers, this program was created because we realized that our youth should develop new friendships through recreation and sports programs.  This will allow them to expand their circle of influence with other youth outside of their neighborhood.  This fraternal relationship can erase the negative stereotype a child may have about another race, culture or neighborhood.

We would like to continue to serve youth in Greater Cleveland and maintain the program at its present level.  But in order to do this, we must continue to seek funding through private donations, sponsorship and fundraising.
