Important Parent Information for 2023

Greater Cleveland All-Stars AAU Travel Basketball Team 2023

Dear Sir or Madam:

We are inviting your son to participate in our tryouts for the 2023 Season. Our 1st tryout will be held at the Sterling Recreation Center located at 1380 East 32nd Street., Cleveland Ohio 44114. The date and time will be announced at a later date.

At that time, you will meet the coaches and review all rules and what is expected of your son should he make the team. As Police Officers, this program was created because we realized that our youth should develop new friendships through recreation and sports programs. This will allow them to expand their circle of influence with other youth from outside of their neighborhood. This fraternal relationship can erase the negative stereotype a child may have about another race, culture or neighborhood.

We expect that all players will be on time for practice. If you have any suggestions for any tournaments, let us know during our first practice. If you know anyone wanting to try out for our team, let us know and we will invite them if we can. We can only have 2 Players from the same school. This year our team will be 10th grade Age- 16 and under on or before August 31, 2023.

We are always looking for sponsors.  If you know of anyone wanting to support our team financially, please let them know that we are a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit organization, and their donations are tax deductible.  Please check our Donate page for ways to contribute. 

Players that make the team will no longer be required to pay a fee.  We look forward to meeting with you and your son and having him as a part of our team.
